Do not travel unless you absolutely have to, e.g. if you have to travel to save lives! Practise social distancing. Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, train services have been gradually reduced since about Monday 16 March 2020 in and around Benelux. By Monday 23 March, the three countries have kicked in what seems to be the absolutely minimally required train schedules. Schedules are prone to changes quickly during this crisis; check with public transport providers repeatedly. Non-high-speed train services within Benelux has largely returned to normal levels by the beginning of June. Most international services are returning to near-normal levels in June and July. (Some seasonal services will not return this year; check with the service providers.)
The following are the train network in Benelux since Monday 23 March 2020 till the end of May in three maps. (Click on the thumbnails to open the pdf's.) (As for France, France has been telling people to check every single day.) In the Netherlands, the basic Nachtnet network has restarted since 29 April 2020. In Belgium, P trains are very mostly not running. (The P train services that do run are not shown in the following maps). Unfortunately I don't have the time to research for maps for the weekend schedules. The journey planners of the railway companies are sometimes not functioning well, e.g. with many discrepancies between the suggested journeys and the real-time departure information at the stations. In such cases I follow the station departure information.
